Playground Restoration Project Brings New Life to P.S. 1

On Saturday, May 19, in a partnership with Immigrant Social Services, APEX NY and P.S. 1 Alfred E. Smith Elementary, the Dynasty Project finished this phase of our playground restoration project.

Fifty-eight volunteers joined us Saturday morning to repaint the basketball courts in Knicks blue and orange, refinish the backboards and rims, and most importantly, fill in the major cracks and potholes. We even found time to clean and sanitize the playground right next to the courts and help P.S. 1 install their new garden.

Dynasty Project would like to thank each and every one of our 58 volunteers that came out to work on the project. A list of volunteers and credits is listed below.
